my target audience probably isnt on this community anymore...
when i get hosting, i'm pretty sure our vids will get crumby ratings because of the people on this board.
I don't particularly care, tho. Many of the videos and editor techniques I like dont get ratings worthy of them here...
grain of salt and all that

It sounds wrong, but I try To give an opinion on any video I download that I think I could give out a pointer or two to. If its a vid that just has no redeeming qualities I find it very hard to even give positive feedback or at least a helpful hint without sounding like a complete dick.
But the few Times I receive an opinion from someone in my comments back to the person who gave me an opinion I offer to do an opinion for them in return... Hey the least I can do is return the favor right? Although not many people have taken me up on that. I still write it at the end of any of the comments on an opinion I receive.

Say Nothing At All
I think NMEis going for a world record for number of one line forum posts.
It's understandable DrngdKreationz.
I found a video without any redeeming quality. It needed a score below a one in every category.
It featured non anime subject matter like teletubbies and still shots from pics. I downloaded at random or else I never would have downloaded it.
It had nothing what so ever good about. I could not leave an opinion for a lack of anything good to say. No score would have been low enough.
It seemed cruel to leave nothing but a bad opinion. Perhaps the person will figure it out by comparison to the vids of others. An opinion would have only been a discouragement.

I'd just settle for the 60 downloadsScintilla wrote:I WISH I had 2 opinions for every 60 downloads... but I'll probably never be so lucky.
As for me, oftentimes what I do is I look for a certain song or song/anime combination, and find random people that way.

I do opps a little differently. It would be impossible for me to op every video that I download because they take me forever. By the time I'm finished I will see the video in a whole new light from concentrating on it so much. There is a distinction in my mind between videos I've oped and those I haven't. I think my ops help me be a better editor, helping others is just a side effect
. All the people I owe ops to I haven't forgotton. Oynnx, I'm almost done. Wolfgangh... Sephiroth... etc...

I remember when I used to do that.
I'm bored and you're dumb. A match made in heaven.

But the average is so damn high because most people only op the vids they like. If someone wants my opinion I'll be honest. I don't usually go around leaving opinions because my ops take too long to write but sometimes if someone asks and I have nothing else to do I'll go and leave them an honest opinion.Voices_Of_Ryan wrote:^_^;;)v(ajin Koji wrote:LOL.Jonny Bebop wrote:I'm trying to do exactly what Koji is doing 'cos i know what it's like not to get an opinion too.

To be honest, I op most of what I like. Cause I really hate giving anything below average.
