If best = most fitting...

If best = most in tune with a large proportion of teenage AMV viewer's tastes - quite probably. If anything, there's a lot of folks who enjoy them more than something with song titles like Mother Hold The Candle Steady While I Shave The Chicken's Lip...

There's different ways to edit an AMV, and the complexity does not have to be tied to the music. I've seen Tool AMV's to very complex songs which I thought were edited in a very simple, uncomplicated fashion, while at the same time I've recently worked on an AMV which features an excessively simple song, and it was hella hard making it.

It's not what you edit, it's how. There are some Linkin Park AMV's that I bet were quite hard to make - but in the end, it shows!
