First anime I ever saw was RealMedia files of what looked like fansubbed Rurouni Kenshin, over the summer of 2002. I got through the first season before I had to give the CDs back (and didn't think to copy them).

Yeah, I'm pretty new to the whole fandom...

my first anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion, and i borrowed the DVDs from a friend for a week or so, and have been hooked ever since... That was in 2001, but didn't join a-m-v.org until later, I think 2002.

Now that I have a job, some money and a car, I can finally go buy anime (the rest of GITS:SAC and NGE:P have my name on them, as well as many others.

I first got into anime about god, maybe, 8 years ago? on SciFi channel theyd show something every saturday called the saturday anime. the first anime that got me into anime was Vampire Hunter D.

Guess the spot goes to "Speed Racer" because I saw it before knowing what anime was. 8)

Or maybe it was Astro Boy

now that's old school, a classic.

Really can't say what anime got me into the "otaku" club.

Let's just say it was : Dragon Ball series +Gundam Series +Escaflowne.

I've seen so many anime that it's impossible to remember them all or even most.

The more I saw the more I fell in love.
