Shorts are more entertaining than movies a lot of times. Must be the to-the-point storylines.

Memories is a collection of 3 stories by Katsuhiro Otomo (for those who do not know)

1: Magnetic Rose
2: Stink Bomb
3 Cannon Fodder

No, they aren't "Action-packed-made-to-sell-wannabe-series" parts. They are artisticly done each in their own style. I will say that Magnetic Rose is quite good. The animation is incredible and the story is very good. Stink bomb is just hilarious in my opinion. It also has suspense and is well animated.

Cannon Fodder, to me, lost it's impact when nothing else happened. But what does happen is a bit interesting the first time you watch it.

It may not be entirely worth $30 in my opinion. So if you can get it cheaper or on sale then by all means. I don't think I paid 30 for it either but I'm just saying. If you know what I mean.

i jacked it from my friend and watched magnectic rose and stink bomb before he managed to jack it back

i personally thought that magnectic rose was REALLI good

i dont know about cannon fodder tho;; it didnt get the chance to watch it

Each of the three shorts have their own theme, style and meaning.
So it's impossible and stupid to try to compare them.
The animation and drawings are top notch.

Then again we ARE talking about Katsuhiro Otomo.

My favorite has to be Magnetic Rose, no, my favorite is Stink Bomb.
Oh well I like all three:
Magnetic Rose is intriguing and has twists.
Stink Bomb is actually funny to watch.
Cannon Fodder is just on its own league.

A great buy in my opinion. 8)
