Adobe Premiere 6 HELP!!!

Post by Ironfistviii » Tue Aug 10, 2004 2:34 pm

I have less than two weeks to finish a video and I can't do so until I get this problem resolved:

When I insert a transition, no mater what I set the settings to, it always goes from 0 to 100%. I am trying to blend two clips and have them remain blended for the duration at the same value (30%).

I have already reinstalled Adobe and installed the 6.02 update.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Use the rubber bands in the video 2+ layers to set the constant transparency effect.

this accually should go in Video Software Help but since its herei will try to help you... first it looks like you are trying to do something with transitions that should be done with the rubber bands... the guide that showed me how to do this properly would probably help you out to... its Aluminum Studios Guide it has pretty pictures that can help you out! look at the first picture, it is pointing to the red dot and it says "Toggle Back To Rubber Band Fade Controls" thats probably what you want. just switch to that and drag it down to however transparent you would like your clip to become! its that easy! (if you dont see the red dot on the left click the triangle next to the word Video 2 *or any other #, but not 1* and it should drop a box down that gives you the ability to use the rubber bands)

hope that helps, if not then i probably misunderstood your problem, but check the video software help section, someone else may have had this problem already...

If you like, I can take you through the rubber band process. Just message me on AIM (CelesLock) or MSN (enigma570@hotmail.com) and I can help you out ^_^
