"B5"

A guess for one of the detours:

Dr. Strangelove?

Right-O; the button IS marked B5. The thread is now Rhyevaln's.

And you are ALSO correct on Dr. Strangelove OR How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb (although I goofed a bit; the binder's title was World Targets in Megadeaths.). The other film, made nearly twenty years later, was WarGames.

G.C. Scott kicks ass.

Daa Daa Daa!!!

Whilst on a friendly walk through the mall, Miyu, Kanata, and Ruu get more attention than they bargained for when Ruu becomes upset. There is a particular reason for Ruu's crying. What is it that Miyu and Kanata must do to calm Ruu?

K, sure if anyone knew it they would have responded by now.

Adventures of MiniGoddess:

During the 'Goddess Love Theatre' episode, Urd was wearing a very familiar looking Helmet. Resembling that of one worn by a character in _______.

Fill in the Blank.

Both questions are up for answering. Good Luck!

It's been more than 48 hours, so to kick this thread off again, here's an Angelic Layer question. While the answer isn't necessarily a spoiler, part of this question may or may not be considered a spoiler (in any case, it goes into You-Know-What).
SPOILER-GARD wrote: Most Angelic Layer fights take place on a flat surface. However, starting with the Kanto Regional games, a new twist has been added: Layers made to resemble different landscapes.

The Question: What landscape does the Layer resemble in the first fight of the National Tournament?

NOTE: The name of who participates in this particular fight is almost CERTAINLY a spoiler; if you include who is in this fight, please GARD it.

Another question coming up (Yes, I know twenty-four hours haven't passed yet; barely six). And, once again, this may or may NOT be considered a spoiler, so it's going under.

Mobile Suit GUNDAM SEED question (the first few eps I just finished watching for the first time -- Yes, I've been WAITING for the DVD to come out!!):
SPOILER-GARD wrote: The Question: What does GUNDAM stand for? (Yes, for, AFAIK, the first time, it's an acronym)
A correct answer to either the Angelic Layer question or the GUNDAM SEED question will get you the thread.

That'll do it for the Angelic Layer question; your thread, Lantis. As for the GUNDAM SEED Q:

Okay, quickly before I have to get off the machine because of a really big, nasty thunderstorm (i.e. don't expect a response before tomorrow morning):

Bishojou Senshi Sailor Moon: Sailor Stars: In the first episode, a shard of a broken dream mirror falls into one of Mamoru's eyes. Which eye?
