Yes, that's the manga. It started in 1994 and has long since finished. It's 18 volumes long, and is by far the best manga I've read so far (although it's pretty different from all other manga I've read, too), although it's not licensed in the US as far as I know.bubblehead wrote: I swear I saw a manga called "Monster" for sale in France when I was there recently... that isn't licensed Stateside, is it? The anime has been following the manga pretty faithfully so far and should be 78 episodes long when it's done. Can't wait for that

I saw about half of an episode of "monster" fansubbed (I assume) at YasumiCon recently...what I saw seriously freaked me out. But I want to see more anyway.
I am currently watching Matantei Loki Ragnarok and Fruits Basket. I prefer the FB manga over the anime, but Loki is good.
