I don't hear people talk about Last Exile much on this site... >_> <_< Ranked #8 at animenfo.com and my personal favorite series...

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right threads.

I didn't get to see much of it, but what I did see I liked.

Untill resently I thought that Serial Experiments lain was pretty unrecondnized, but I don't think that so much now. Its had a rerelease and I'm glad that it wasn't remastered. There are somethigs that just wouldn't have been the same if it was remastered. Mabe if lain's english voice was redone, but that would be the only thing I'd change.

Other underated anime? I heard that Birth was pretty good for its day (1980's). Free from all that fancy 3D models and shtuff.

There be my contrabution to dis thread.

Yea, Lain is rather well-known from my experience.

I could say the currently-running 'Monster' seems underrated to me, but it's still early in the series - and then, on the other hand, titles like that probably don't float very well with the younger audiences who just want their hot girls/boys and funky action
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

Really? And I thought I was one of the last 3 anime viewers who hasn't watched GTO yet

I heard about it (A Wind Named Amnesia)... a few years back, even. Always wanted to see it, but it's impossible to track down anywhere.

Now and then, here and there...

Haibane Renmei may still be a little underated, one of my favorites now.

I also agree on Last exile.
