Just curious. Do you mean my AMV? And if so what technical problem are you talking about you didn't mention it in you op. One more question: Have you downloaded my video before? Your the first to notice I downgraded to the lower resolution. Unless you meant from 720x480...

512x384 is a non-standard resolution. neither raws, fansubs, captures, or dvd's come in this resolution... anymore.Brolly345 wrote:When I say technical, i'm refering to things done before and after the editing proccess.iranai wrote:Do you mean my AMV?

3 years or so back. 512x384 was a very common fansub resoluion, for the exact same reason, to save filesize.( ahh the days of 120 meg encodes ).
It uses about 1/2 the video information.. but doesn't noticably look smaller.
I will not bash any coice of resoluion chosen to save filesize, ( although i'm dubious of 320x240 and below ) as long as the filesize accuretly reflects the video quality ( in ohterwords, if it's a 15 meg encode, i expet it to look like a 15 meg encode. )
What I have problems with are people who present low quality video with a huge filesize. ( ie, 320x240 resoluioin, 60 meg + filesize )
