dot hack dusk is totally pointless for one... as the only versions of the dot hack series that most ppl watched was .hack//sign and infection....

and as i've said, i've only seen a handful of episodes, it's got my vote for favorite Japanime(code:lyoko has my Franime vote) with all the mystery, graphics, etc. etc etc.... but also the strangeness!!

well they had some pretty cool names. Orca something of the something and Bulmug azure of the sky. lol the names are messed up pretty bad i cant spell for crap

it's Balmung of the Azure Sky, and then some other guy of the Azure Sea. plz i've been looking at a bunch of dot hack sign sites., and know by now a bunch of the names.
like Mimiru, Bear,BT,Crim,Sora,Tsukasa,Subaru,etc,etc, etc......

I like the series because it is based on a game and also is a puzzle. Questions keep getting asked and you try to figure out what is going on. I didn't get bored with the beginning episodes because, once I watched the first three and realized I may have missed something, I went back and watched them again, trying to pick up every last detail. It keeps my sucked in because I don't want to miss anything. I have been able to watch animes all the way through in one day (try Eva plus the movies for a trip!), but .HACK//SIGN keeps me thinking too much and keeping every clue straight.

EXACTLY!!! that's the way! that's how i feel about .HACK//SIGN and DUSK and INFECTION! They just keep on going, pushing you deeper and deeper into the story with so many questions that can't be answered till some time later.... and because i'm pretty young still, and haven't been able to watch much .Hack lately, i'm sorta dumbfounded by how things happen.... besides Sora and Subaru and the Crimsn Knights and Azure clans joining Tsukasa and the legendary Dot Hackers.... it's pretty spell-binding!

i hope more Dot Hack fans come here and try and keep this topic on the first page, so plz post here when need-be? goodday/night/afternoon/morning.

don't worry when i was watching .hack//sign i thought i got the hang of it, then when i missed just one episode, i was completely lost on the series. And don't blame me but does Mimiru and Blackrose look the same but only with different hair colors

Thats my opinion though.

Blackrose is a remake of mimiru that was won in a special drawing for the girl playing by the name of Blackrose. it's pat of the infection series.
