Currently, I like Gainax's 3 famous series best - Evangelion, FLCL and KareKano. Do I need to explain why? They're superb artistically and provide as much fun as good food for thought.

By the time it's finished its' run though, Monster is likely to become my favorite anime, for its' (unfortunately) unique approach of focusing on storyline and character development above all.
