If you have windows xp use the picture viewer and the copy to button, save it as a jpeg, it gets it down to 123k. here's a link to the pict saved as a jpeg compressed to 42k. Even paint will save your picture to jpeg format.

I used to have that problem. But now I have my very own computer that I built that is mine to do with what I want.
