can you make the amount size of the avator bigger... like from 6 mb to about 14 or so..
AMD Sempron 3000+,1GB DDR RAM,48xCDRW/DVD Drive,16x DVD Burner 9 in one flashcard reader,Gforce FX 5500, homemade 5.2 surroundsound (meaning two sub-woofers), 40GB HD, 250 GIG HD, 500W power supply.

Why not? Coupled with very small amvs you could just put your vid right in your sig! Ha ha then people would HAVE to watch your newest masterpeice!

The reason why they dont make the avatar images so large is so that it won't utterly kill 56k'ers. Is that a good enough reason for you?

i didnt mean mb i ment kb lol from 6 kb to about 14 kb... cuz i only have HIGH res pics and my avator is EXACTLY 6 kb... and that is all that is allowed.. and i cant stand it..

The easiest solution would be to go into photoshop or paintshop or whatever image editing program you have and turn down the image quality a bit. :D It won't really hurt it that much, most people will be focussing on your post anyways, not your sig.

true but i dont have photoshop... i only have microsoft word... all i can do is resize it.. and i am shure that for other people like me they can be better off with this change...

just load it into mspaint and save-as a gif or jpg, or shrink it slightly. Increasing the size of avatars like Ixidor mentioned affects dial-up users a lot, which is why the size is so small.

Increasing it would make it worse for a lot of people, unfortunatly.
