Mizuho = Belldandy [yay]

I saw the commercial promo myself and uh... [drool]

ME IS VERY HAPPY.

This anime was the FIRST anime I sunk my *expletive* into and damn did I get hooked on anime after that...

Hiroaki Gohda? HE'LL ANIMATE IT?! [brings back Please Teacher memories....] Wow, his direction of the OAVs was awesome, but if he both directs and animates *we're not worthy bowing mode...*

W00T!!! Yeah, I definitely salute the fact that he's both a director AND character designer! *salutes again*

Well the first ep has aired and all I can say is....

WOW

Beautiful animation, good opening theme. They extended the beginning out, but I really don't mind. I am looking foward to this series. Hopefully it doesn't get licensed anytime soon. Don't need to wait any longer than need be.

I saw it the other night too, I wasn't dissapointed.

As for Keichi, he was always a strong and entertaining character, and I think it's even more so in the new series (even though it's only 1 episode in already).

There seem to be some changes, and things have been brought upto date, ie the original huge telephone he used is now just an ordinary sized telephone and there is a lot more Yggdrasil eyecandy.

I think Keichi dialled into the matrix.

I believe it will be 26 episodes, should be interesting to see if the other lesser known Goddesses put in an appearence

Just finished watching the first episode subbed. Even though I never read the manga, I seriously don't mind watching more of this. And if this gets licensed, I REALLY hope AnimEigo gets it since they do flawless subs and dubs (though that's a really long shot).

From skimming through the RAW, and having read the manga, I can say this: they managed to take nearly the entire episode to get to page two of the manga.

Yes, you are pretty much correct on your guess. I'm always disappointed that in the anime (tv series and OAV) made of the manga they don't start Belldandy off with blue hair like she had in the manga. Oh well, hopefully they add the humor into the first meeting that the manga had.

Actually, i think Mr. Fujishima said it was meant to be silver (a mix of urds white, and skulds black), but changed it after realizing in print it didn't come of as such *random :3
