I may get an Ipod, simply because I don't want to lug my laptop around to play MP3s and I'm getting bored of changing CD's every so often.
And the overkill storage space is perfect for some of my applications at work and wherever.

It's the iPod Shuffle. But there are several other 512MB and 1GB players in this price range. Ones that don't use rechargeable batteries.AmazonMandy wrote: I am also interested in a 120 track one...Does it have an official name? And are they sold in most places the iPods are? I just want a nice small one to use while running, my current MP3 player doesn't hold that amount...

You mean ones that dont use rechargable batteries that cant be taken out of the player (unless you force it) so when the battery dies after a year or two you've gota send the ipod back to apple for a replacment?TaranT wrote:It's the iPod Shuffle. Yup. The same ones that run down and leave you without tunes when you're away from home. The same ones that make you wait over four hours while they're charging.bum wrote:You mean ones that dont use rechargable batteries that cant be taken out of the player (unless you force it) so when the battery dies after a year or two you've gota send the ipod back to apple for a replacment?TaranT wrote:It's the iPod Shuffle.
