Help: Skins?

Okay, I'm rating the AMV's and such and I see in the link bar something about skins. I figure it'd be cool to change 'em so I click to test a few and now alot of the links I click on the site are all messed up. What's worse is that it's not letting me go back to the skins part of the site (which I'm not sure now was supposed to be there), to change it. Has anyone else had this problem or knows how to fix it? I've lowered the size of the font but everything still looks all weird.

NO, I have this problem too. I wish I could have a site skin that would actually work

When I hit test, I come up with a page that looks like this:

This is for nearly every one I try.

Now my current skin is Blue V. 03. That works half the time. But other times, it defaults back to the original skin (on the main members page) and goes to blue when I check some subpages in the members section.

I have not once been able to find a concrete skin that will stay in its form throughout the entire site. Why is this? I asked this once before and someone said it was because the site was undergoing a new layout.

Okay that sounds fine. But that was months ago; perhaps a half a year or more. So I would think in that time that at least one person would make a new skin to the contours of the new layout. So why isn't any single one of them working? It has done this for too long and I would really like a real working skin.

And by the way, Site Skins is not selectable from the main members menu for some reason for me. Am I missing it somehow? Where'd it go?

Yes, sorry, skins don't work.

They used to work and then Phade decided it would be better to have the pages in a different format (v3). This is fine except that only half the pages have actually been converted to the new format. The current skins are v2 site skins and wont work with the new pages and vice versa.

So, in short, don't use the skins until the pages are fixed (sorry, I've no idea when that will be either).

Well I removed the Skins link on the members main page menu a while ago... I honestly don't know how this person found it

If someone knows a page that still links to the skins stuff, let me know and I'll remove it.

To the person with the skin problem, choose Orange Cream Puff as the skin and it should fix things I think.

Okay so my main page is the cream puff and all my other pages are a blue looking color that i think i picked a while ago but the logo looks really crappy on the dark blue background. Is there a way to set all my backgrounds to the cream puff or am i SOL on this one.

go to http://www.animemusicvideos.org/skins/ and change it to Orange Cream Puff and then forget that this page exists because the site skins no longer work

Click at "orange cream pop" in my profile page

. But my skins are also okay
