EVA Manga

Anyone know if the Evangelion Manga is any good?

Is it just the show on paper or does it add some details, perspectives, or scenes not in the show?

Yes. It is different and somewhat more expansive.

As a whole its the same story, but are are alot of scenes not in the anime that expand more of the characters. If your an eva fan get it.

I actually like the manga <i>better</i> than the anime.

(That scene with Rei and Shinji in the courtyard was really WAFFy... and Kaji gets an appropriately sad backstory (though he's actually learned to live with it, as opposed to almost every other major character in the series)... and other stuff.)

Now if only Sadamoto would, you know, finish it.

I just wanted to make sure it expanded on the story rather than just watching the anime in stop motion.
