ok im new and want to make amvs i dont know how.
any body have any info that could help.

yea all you need to do is get a few clips of some anime and if you have to rite program you can make them and edit them. I use windows movie maker i think it came free with my com.

Rmber the amvs have to be your own work.

Yeah, the guides are an excellant source of info. The can teach you a whole lot. I found AbsoluteDestiny's guide especially informative. They can teach you pretty much anything you could want to know about video compression and the like

Well, I myself have yet to master the art of learning through osmosis, so old fashioned reading is the only thing that works for me. In my opinion, it's a whole lot easier to read the guides on this site, than to try and learn how to use the software through trial and error. Don't want to read the guides? Then you can forget about using AVIsynth- only the sweetest video manipulation program ever! (ok, maybe not, but it is really cool
