Sometimes I watch alone in my room with the lights out and sound was like in the cinema. But when I'm with my friends, we usually watch it in the morning.

But now that school was already start, I'ved watch it every night.

Nothing special in my case, though fullscreen and high volume is a must

I watch them mostly when I feel like it. AMVs are a perfect oppurtunity to spend time if you have to wait a few minutes for something like a download, the pizza, a friend coming over etc etc. :D

I usually download them on my laptop at work and prescreen them. The memorable ones get transferred to my desktop for DVD conversion so I can play it on a car DVD system.

I also bring my laptop with me when I go over a friends place to play some poker. I hookup my laptop to their 65" projection TV and sound system and then kick off the whole selection. They get sucked in because of the music. I usually watch them to study techniques used. I really do love seeing them on a big screen with the music blasting at 2am in the morning.

uhh...I never watch fullscreen. The music is only up all the way if I like the song. It's pretty much after I've watched an AMV I like about 5 times, I'd just leave it on loop and browse the internet and take a look at it every 7 seconds or so.

When I download a new one, when I need to kill a little time or when I feel like having a little AMV-session. Mostly full screen. Little window when doing something else at the same time. Volume seems to go up since I need to lower it back down after watching.

I don't have friends.

WMV is whatever the regular size is at.

Everything else is full screen with my ghetto speaker setup and my horrible resolution monitor from 1984. Seriously.

I don't watch AMVs that much, anymore. I wait until AWA, sit down, and don't get up till 3 days later. Aside from getting up to hoarde AMV CDs/DVDs.

After AWA, I usually sit around and watch the CDs/DVDs on the big screen.

I stopped burning AMVs to VCDs two years a go on account of A) The quality on those things suck ass and B) I have no idea where my VCD player for the TV went, and my DVD player won't play them because it's old and sucks ass (It just about died when I tried to play AD's 2001 AWA DVD-R)

The gear:
23" widescreen monitor
Audigy 2zs sound card
Harmon Kardon Amp
Reference Speakers, and a JBL 15" sub.
Or headphones if it's late.

I try to always watch them at full screen, unless they are low rez. Then it's just painful.
Usually I watch videos either late, or while my wife is off somewhere and doesn't have to deal with stuff rattling on the shelves in the next room.

Casually, I'll just watch whatever comes to mind depending on my mood, but if I'm opping a video, I'll play it at 100% and have a text window next to it for notes as I watch.

At work, I have a DVD player (that somebody just busted Grrr) and a TV in the back of my classroom with a set of six wireless headphones that I let my students watch AMV's whenever they want.
