I bought my tickets last night, so I'm all set for AWA.
Well, except for that whole room issue. Oh well.
Oh and Kusoyaro now owes me $205!

Well does anyone have a room already lined up at the con hotel that they wouldn't mind being invaded by AMV creators on Friday or Saturday night? If not anyone wanting to go in together on an AMV room? I know the AMV video track will be a hot spot but it might be nice to have a creator only gathering as well.
I could bring my laptop and (if my boss turns his back that Friday) the screen projector from work, hook 'em up together, upload any AMVs y'all may have on CD, and place those AMVs that didn't quite make it to AWA due to time or what not. It definitely wouldn't make up for the video track room for pure view pleasure but could make a cool back drop to a hang out.
A restaurant gathering could be cool too (a couple of those going on at Anime Expo for AMV creators) but I doubt we could play AMVs during the gathering.

Hey Carlos, your UshiCon documentary was awesome and very well done. A++ on the pop-ups. I hope I run into you and the crew whilst attending room gatherings. Btw, how do you guys practically know all the big names IRL? Is it just on the message boards or at cons?Machine wrote:AWA will be my last documentary so hell yea count me in!
There is nothing wrong with sin that cannot be fixed with right.

I'm sure you will see us. If you thought Ushicon was good....wait till A-kon's docuemtnary. Anime Expo's Doc will bee good as well but not as crazy as Akon's was.
