well i myself draw th eway i am comfortable with.. even though i too use those books for pointers a bit. OH also if you want to draw sexy characters... Learn to draw REAL people fist then its just a simple thing to take them in a ANIME style direction...and it will give th echaracters more believability.

Exactly. Best to start with what's real before you go off distorting it in the name of style.

Cool! Yeah, cause I wasn't excatly sure how to come about the drawings. Sometimes I might look at a manga or comic to see how the eyes, mouth or nose is drawn. To sort of direct myself, the other problem is that I feel a little insecure about my own drawings. But then again, you are your worst critic, which in turn makes you want to reach a higher level. Thanks for the pointers, I usually draw green life, so it's a little new for me until my friend hooked me on anime.

Looking back, I can see a few changes in my drawings. But how can you really say "That's what I was going for! I like that. That is good." When people who CAN draw tell you all the flaws that are on that character?
