How to get FFX videos from the game onto your comp????

Post by Flea Of Terror » Thu Jul 11, 2002 1:18 pm

Does anyone know what program can RIP the videos from FFX onto a computer for video editing?

I have a program that lets me do this, but when you pop FFX into your dvd-rom drive it can only read about 5megs of info, and you cant see the video files at all.

This must be asked twice a week.

The answer is: there is no way. Check older threads for more details.

You have to hook the PSX2 up to a capture card..

Some say it works, some say it doesn't. I don't know. Nor do I really care ;)

I read that pinnacle systems, pinnacle express can connect to the PS2 thus allowing you to capture the cut scenes. I haven't tried it myself to know but it sounds possible.

You can use an ISO Editor in conjunction with a CAB Extractor and maybe pull it of, but we're talking a workload on your machine and some knowledge of hexadecimal IS required.

You then need to follow ErMaC's guide I believe, 'cept replace the vob files with your extracted clip.
