Well, you know how it is with us AMV editors: with a November 15th deadline, don't expect to see most of the entries come rolling in until November.

We are currently having a few technical issues with our web server sorry for the inconvience guys. Since the contest is so far off I am not gonna mirror it on my servers. Since the server would be back up way before the convention and the deadline is due. Again I apologize for any inconvience I would keep you updated if anything.

More specifically around about November 10th or so is when people will bother getting their video in.

Trust me, a good chunk of videos are always within the last WEEK of the deadline.

Well while I wait I would go ahead and improve the submission system I made it real easy and hopefully you guys do not need any knowledge of FTP to use it.

I also would be making a submission system so basically you guys just go to a website and I simply put in the information that is needed and I automatically get that information and it's already CCed to the appropiate people. Yes I do test these systems to make sure they run. So hope you like the new improvements once I announce them.

I have created a system on top of the current one for ease of use for everyone and make it a better experience. I would provide a very small tutorial on how to use it and provide the link later on. I hope you enjoy the improvements. Expect much more from me later on.

Kunicon's Beta Submission System can be visited here.

http://xelsys.net/kunicon/kasw/

This is a web based FTP client for our contest users. You have full access to your accounts and of course all accounts are monitored.

The submission system would still be email but I would fix that up with a web based form so people can submit there information and get directly a confirmation that we recieved. I would also be making phone calls and checking emails to make sure there valid to prevent any problems with wrong information. Our FTP server has a max of 280GB max in storage. So we can store tons of videos. The connection is also dedicated and static.
The standard form of submitting videos is still available you can choose to use your favorite client or the service so high end users have there toys and begineers can use the system.

You can try it out for now using this account.
