All-time favorite anime character, and why?

Mine is probably Sora, from .hack//SIGN
He can be such a dick, but he's quick as hell, and has some cool-ass blades, and any P.K. that jumps out from high places to spook people for fun is my hero. My sources tell me that he's actually 10 years old in the real world. If that's true, it makes him that much cooler.

What about the rest of you?
