I mean I don't think it's wierd and all but I just really want other people's

Heh.
Why should it be?
My mom isn't really a big fan of anime, but my brother gets her to watch quite a bit of it; she tends to prefer the more complex, mature-themed anime. And, like me, she's a huge fan of Monster

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

My dad started watching Full Metal Panic with me, and actually volunteered to come to Otakon last year and had a decent time.

my mom may ask me about a certain series once in a while but thats about it, my dad though seemed a little intrigued when i was watching FMA at the part where Dr. Marcho stabs lust in through the stomach and he still talks crap. you'd really find it weird if you knew him.
Life is but a dream.....So what happens when you wake up?

I have a Pokemon poster on my wall and it's been there for like years and my dad said (when I moved in with him this summer)...wait for it..."Aren't you too old for that?". I just wanted to laugh. Even though I continued to tell him that people in like their late 20's watch it. He thinks anything that's animated is for little kids. So I couldn't imagine what it would be like if parents liked anime. If mine did, I would think it was weird. Anime is just something I would rather talk to my friends about.
