Too bad; but may I state something here - again - I would PAY to bring back OT, even just for donators. I think it could happen, and I think it could be a good idea. Will it happen? I doubt it.

Meanwhile, thanks for the fun-kill. At least there was fun before it was killed.

Seriously though, I've been wishing for an alternative OT arrangement. Other forums aren't the same. Sure the .org lived on for almost two years without OT now, but you can see that people aren't forgetting it very easily.

The fact is, OT was a good bit of fun for all involved. As much as some may have resented the apparent clique-ish tendencies and trolling in there, there was ultimately nothing unmoderatable and offensive that the OT spawned. With a bit more [volunteer] effort, things could be efficiently kept under control, as they are elsewhere.

You may say it has nothing to do with AMV's. That's right, it doesn't.
But on the other hand, I wouldn't be here and I wouldn't have ever started editing if the sense of cameraderie in the OT didn't compel me to give the AMV community a chance (and myself - enough time to get interested in the 'business of AMV-pleasure')
