Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

In all my years at AWA, I have never seen that happen before.

Zarxrax, you suck! :P
I think they ended up doing it about 2/3 of the way through this year's Iron Editor Challenge as well....
Yeah they did. If I remember right, VegettoEX stepped out to get something and they almost didn't let him back in

Awesome. Pure awesome. AMV Hell 3 was incredible on the big screen, and AMV Hell 0 was awesome in my hotel room at 3 AM.

Truly great stuff, everyone. Every segment at least made me chuckle (well, except for mine, having seen them too damn many times). Thanks a million to Zarx and SSG for allowing me (and everyone else, for that matter) into this project. Seriously, being involved in this has truly made my year. And having one of the reviewers classify one of my segments "a gem" is going to keep me all warm and fuzzy well into next year. Pat yourselves on the back, everyone. You did good.

Ah, that definitely explains things :D I heard him tell Meri he was going to the bathroom, and he took a really long time getting back.

Enough OT from me, back to your regularly scheduled AMV Hell 3 thread. I've been downloading this video for about 3 hours now, and it's still only about 90% done. Obviously, the more bandwidth and revenue needed thread isn't bullshit! DONATE!!
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

Just take all the really bad cheap AMV Hell clones coming out recently, jam them together, and call it AMV Hell 4.

I got halfway through watching with my girlfriend, and began banging my head on her arm... We wanted to stop, but it was like crack. I had to force myself to close it so as to finish later. Based on the first half:

- Anything involving dbz was golden (especially Pie's).
- The Fresh Prince of Neo Tokyo ruled.
- The Berserk one near the beginning made us laugh out loud.
- Alucard DOES look like Carmen Sandeigo, rofl.
- Some segments had somewhat off lip synch.
- Graves of the Fireflies references were distasteful, yet funny.
- EVA/Titanic was classic.

Probably a bunch more good stuff, but they all went so fast that our brains fried.
The best effects are the ones you don't notice.

Yeah. I came back, and the door was closed. I went to go open it, and a few guys stopped me. I told them I was one of the Iron Editor competitors. The guy sitting in the chair paused for a second, and said, "<I>You don't look like Hsien Lee.</i>"

Hell = awesome. In much agreement with just about everyone else, but I have to say that the <I>Believe</I> parody had me pissing my pants in laughter, even more-so than the <I>Euphoria</I> parody.

The crazy thing about the Believe parody, is that, there was a time when I thought that Azumanga was going to be one of the sources for Iron Editor at Otakon, and I was seriously considering using Believe as my audio, and using those exact same scenes. So when I saw that I kind of took a double-take. Hehe was great stuff.
