And I dont want a "her love for Inuyasha made her stronger than naraku" kinda answer.
No, you're forgetting that Kagome and Kikyo are powerful priestesses. Essentially, they are the same person separated by a span of time and heartbreak. Ok, remember the uh... second movie where Kikyo fires off that nuclear powered arrow and kills the huge lake monster? Kagome has that same degree of power, but since she isn't actually you know, DEAD, she is able to use her love and purity, or whatever as a focus. It's been pretty consistently shown through the series that way. Additionally, remember, the Shikon No Tama has it's own degree of power associated with it. Having the full crystal gives her access to a much larger reserve. She has the ability to stop Naraku.

(as for IY amvs... tons man... tons)
I've seen the fourth movie, lets just say that it doesn't exactly leave you with a profound feeling of satisfaction as the end of a long series.
I can't think of a better ending than the one in the fifth movie that I told you about a couple posts back.

Well *I* for one certainly don't want Inuyasha to die! :x And I think you were very mean for scaring everyone like that.

Frankly, I like Inuyasha just the way he is, a half-demon. Best of both worlds, you know. Human for one night out of the month, fuzzy-eared demon the rest of the time.

Besides, I doubt the jewel would disappear if Inuyasha wished to become human. It's been around too long and passed through too man hands. The answer is probably in Kagome, though, I'm sure of it.

And wasn't there something in the manga about Kagome not being a simple reincarnation of Kikyo? I have a theory on that, but I want to see what Takahashi-san has to say in the manga later on.

Wait, wait, wait. I just got here, and yes I did read some of the post replies, but not all. So far I've read that there are 167 eps. in total, and that they never kill Naraku! And just now I've read two of the most recent posts, and someone said Inuyasha's going to die! What happen someone please explain briefly.

Madbunny pulled a mean little prank and said Inuyasha dies in a fifth movie that doesn't exist. At least not yet.

It's true they don't kill Naraku in the anime, but I don't see how they can since the manga is still running in Japan. I do hope Takahashi-san finishes it and doesn't leave it kinda hanging like she did (apparently) with Ranma 1/2.

There is, or so I've heard, some sort of resolution in the fourth movie, but I have no idea when it's going to come out in America or how much it has to do with Takahashi-san's vision for the Inuyasha universe.

Frankly, I'm always a little cautious about taking anime as canon when there's a manga it's been based on. Thing is, right now I just have the anime to work with since my local library only has three randomly selected volumes of the manga.

Just my two cents worth.

I've been told, that in order to slow down or ideally stop the fangirl suicide rate I should inform everyone that there is in fact NO fifth movie. While I think it would make a compelling and dramatic end to the show....
My post was entirely made up out of frustration born of a show that goes 167 episodes and four movies without resolving main plot points.
Why is the*sobs*internet so mean!!!*sobs like idiot more*You had my hope's all up andeverything. You big doodo brain head!!! :x

I wonder if there is a hidden meaning in there ...
Doesn't that describe a typical Japanese woman? Take into account the shows original fanbase...
well all the women on InuYasha don't EXACTLY look the same.
1.Sango:seems that there is a debate if her ahir is brown or not.
2.not all Japanese girls in general have the same shape of face.
3.even thou they're all japanese they don't excactly have same skin color and type of hair.some people say that Kikyo and Kagome look the same when I don't cause they look completely different to me.Rin's hair goes down then stick out.Izayoi's goes to the floor, literaly. And Kagome's is a bit kinda wavy.

But both of you are right that could be the type they want.
Even thou alot of girls look like that.

*There's also a go around if Miroku's eyes are blue.*

-_- WOW. With Rumiko Takehashi's work with Inu Yasha, she decided to make the Japanese women actually LOOK as Japanese as anime can get. NO offense, but your reasons don't exactly help disprove anything. All of the men in Inu Yasha's family fell in love with Japanese women because THAT WAS THE ONLY TYPE OF HUMAN LIVING IN JAPAN IN THE FEUDEL ERA.

And madbunny, you rock!! The series should TOTALLY end like that. Not only would it be dramatic, it'd be completely fuckin' sweet.
