Merry Christmas a-m-v.org!
Okay, I'm doing my holiday shopping early.
Last year, my friends and I all enjoyed the Love Hina Christmas movie and the Exel Saga New Year's show.
What's everyone's favorite anime Christmas specials? : movies, eps, anything - we need stuff to do on our christmas parties! Bonus points if it's something easily purchased and easily watchable if you haven't seen rest of season. Just good ol fashioned holiday happiness ^_^

Making an amv, is rather like being the director of a Broadway show, where you have a million dancers and each of them only knows one step.

Well I suppose this is when stores start butting out the X-mas stuff, so I guess it is not to soon. If you want Mohoromatic had a pretty good X-mas episode I forget the number, but I liked it. I also saw the love hina X-mas special and I thought that was pretty good too. I liked the love hina one better more because of the fact it was longer, but if you want something new since it seems you have already seen that then try Mohoromatic. It too is a love romantic comedy.

The first disc of Ai Yori Aoshi: Enishi has a Christmas mini-episode in the extras, and the eleventh episode of Big O is Christmassy.

There's the Tendou Family Christmas Scramble on the first Ranma 1/2 OVA, "Desperately Seeking Shampoo."
Another Ranma classic is "A Christmas Without Ranma." I can't remember which season it was, but I think it was about season 4 or so.
There's also the first video of Maison Ikkoku; the second or third episode is a Christmas episode.
I'm sure there's an Urusei Yatsura Christmas special as well - one movie in particular is the fourth, entitled "Lum the Forever," which begins at Christmas time.
Then there's the (I think) third Tenchi Muyo movie (I know it's one of them, I just can't remember which). That was interesting to say the least.
Endless Waltz takes place on Christmas Eve, AC-196, though that's about as Christmas-y as it gets. Kick-ass movie, though
And finally, even though it's not Anime it's just as dark and hilarious, the Invader Zim Christmas special. Even if it isn't Japanese, I highly recommend getting it or at least watching it.

It does have that Christmasy feel to it and has a great Christmas song at the end.

Yup - I've seen Endless Waltz, Fruits Basket, Tenchi - Daughter of Darkness, and Invader Zim. Thanks, I'll have to check out those new ones I don't know.

"Tokyo Godfathers", it's a Christmas setting and a funny but touching story. Azumanga Diao has a Christmas episode too.
Where did you say I'm going?.... And what am I doing in a handbasket?

\Good movie, based on the spinoff novels written by Naoko Hasegawa.
If only they'd translate and release all the Tenchi novels.
