Clubbed to Death Angel Dokuro Chan

Post by Castor Troy » Wed Oct 12, 2005 10:57 pm

This anime looks kind of lame but for some reason, I want to see it.

What are your thoughts on this show?

It's "Club-To-Death", as in she clubs people to death, not that she gets clubbed.

And it is very funny. Did you like the humor in "Jungle wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu"? If you answered yes, you jsut might like this show. If you answered no, the chances are less that you'll like it, but you still MIGHT.

My personal opinion is that it is pretty funny, but has some situations that make me uncomfortable. Dokuro is an angel from the future sent to stop a man from creating a technique that makes women stop aging after (Correct me if I am wrong here) 12 years, thus making a pedophile's heaven. She is supposed to kill him, but instead, decides to distract him enough to where he can't study, flunks out of shcool, and becomes a stupid failure in life, therefore unable to have the brains to invent such a thing.

However, another angel comes from the future, too, and she really does want to kill him, and tries to lure him away to kill him with sexual advances.

Overall, the show is messed up, with lots of ecchi, lots of blood, and a whole lot of uncomfortable "Ummm.. yeah... ok..." sort of situations.

You really would be better watching it and forming your own opinion.

Ahem.

She tries to lure him away with sexual advances, so that she can kill him. She does NOT try to kill him with her sexual advances. (Though it coudl happen knowing this show. Especially of Dokuro sees and decides to club him to death again... after which she uses her magical girl powers to bring him back to life.)

I liked Guu, even though I've only seen 1 or 2 eps at an anime club.

I'm getting the first 2 Dokuro eps now...

I love the show, personally. I grab the new eps as soon as they're released. It's got a good mix of physical and spoken humor, and it always cracks up the local anime club. Definitely worth a look.

The first two episodes were pretty funny, but the next two were 'ehhh' and the last two were 'ok'. (Haven't seen the last two/most recent but I downloaded it last night.)

I expected more pedo 'action'...

Hey, I liked the second set of episodes (episodes 3 and 4). It was rather cute.

5 and 6 on the other hand was really meh. :?

I haven't checked out the last set of episodes that's been released.

Dokoro chan is wackable even when she's all covered with blood but the future world where girls can't age past 12! That's uber
