I'm thinking... Austin Powers, Emma (anime), Slayers (for Lina stuffing her face... suggestive. very) what, it doesn't have to be ALL anime... it doesn't have to be anime at ALL does it?? I wish I had time though.

It should contain a large portion of either anime or anime-styled artwork. It can contain other types of material as well, but it needs anime.

I think this is a great idea for a contest. And good choice on the first song too. I already have a great idea for a video. But should I enter now or wait for the next song?

I mean, I also have to work on another video before Katsucon arrives, and I want to try a few special Christmas songs as well. Not to mention the whole "Unemployment" situation I'm currently in. But hell, if I can get some time this week, I can whip one out quick for fun. I'd also like to see the finished project when it comes out. Always a pleasure.

PS- Sorry Zarxax for, er, ripping your AMV Hell video this year.

Well, we're sort of busy here at the moment, but plenty of good ideas around. So when we spot a song that's to our taste we might submit something here.

I think I'll take a crack at this real quick. I've got a few ideas, but I'm trying to think outside the "Lol he's saying balls" box. Don't know though. Great song to start, by the way.

By anime-styled artwork...does this mean manga is allowed? I've seen some stunning AMVs made almost excusively with still images from manga, since there is an anime series associated with them. I'm currently fiddling with manga in an AMV, and so have lots of "footage" to work with...hmmm... actually, I could even handle this song, I think. Ergh. Not enough time, though. damn damn damn!!!

Hey, is it ok to make suggestions for entries, if we're not going to do AMVs ourself and other people need help? My creative juices are pretty potent, but I've not the time (or experience, yet) to actually make good on my lofty ideas. Mmm, that said, here's something to chew on, since so many people are focused on balls...of the AMV Hell 3 sort:

Sure, manga is fine.
As for recommending entries, I would advise against just posting ideas into a public forum or anything like that, after all, someone else may have come up with the same idea. If anything, I would find a friend who might be able to make the video and just pitch the idea to him.
