Anime with Stage Lighting

Here's a bit of an odd request:

I need animes with scenes of stage lighting, as in, either a close-up of lights or especially, lights being controlled, handled, flashing, moving about, etc. as they are lighting a stage, or a performance, etc. I don't want the footage of them falling onto the stage and lighting their subject, but of the actual lights or of the engineers controlling the lights themselves.

I have only one anime so far, that has an episode that is actually all about a guy who does the lighting for the stage at a dance club- but that anime has never been released on DVD, and my old fansub tape is just too poor quality to use.

So I'm hoping others may have some helpful suggestions. If you think of an anime, please give me information as to what episode the lights appear in, to help narrow down my search.

These are going to be somewhat vague, and I'm sorry for that.

Serial Experiments Lain has dance club scenes within the first few episodes. It's been a long time since I've seen Lain, so I'm not sure how much they focus on lights, but it would seem very likely for that anime.

This one is a long shot for me, since I haven't seen the anime, but my local anime club was showing a series called Interlude, and I know that at the beginning and end of the episodes, they had parts where people were standing under a stage light speaking. I know you don't want the people per se, so I'm not sure how well this one will work.

Sorry I can't be more specific for you, but I hope this gives a starting point at least.

I'd try Gravitation. No guarantees, but it's about a band, there's probably some spots

Perfect Blue may have lighting in it, I can't remember. It does have a range of scenes with filming of a movie / a band dancing about. Plus, you should be able to find it on DVD reasonably easily.

cant tell you what season, but Ranma 1/2 has some stage scenes...

Chance Pop Secession (sp?) has some stage scenes I am sure o.0 its about pop singers. I only got as far as the first disc so i cant tell you beyond that plus I havent watched it in a LONG time.

Full Moon Wo Sagashite is also about a popsinger I know I have seen scenes where she has stage lighting but I havent seen it all the way through o.0

Kaliedo Star had plenty of stage lighting. they were in like a circus and angelic layer probobly has a bunch too

And if you want to use a bit more obscure, use Fancy Lala. It has similar premise as Full Moon, but it's much more light-hearted. I bet there are stage lights there.

the last crappy part of... whats that crap?? oh- Mamotte Shugogetten OVA- shows a nice shot of someone walking on a spotlight... bu no shot of the operator. I wouldn't watch that thing anyway.... FMWS, I'm pretty sure, doesn't show the lights operator. <a href=http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... 87995>This amv here</a> has a nice scene shown from the perspective of the audience -_- not what you asked though ;p. I think, in Cowboy Bebop (the last Jet episode) Jet shoots the spotlights out... speaking of spotlights for like a jail yard rather than. Many games like MGS1 and... one I can't recall right now, have lights and operators like that on the playing feild -_-,

... I think INUYASHA may have a scene like that!! No, j/k ;p.
