VCA Query

Well, this isn't a promotion, so I figured this is the best place to put it. Please move it if it isn't.

I have a question- with the removal of links to certain videos this year (mostly Evanescence), what happens to any videos that were submitted during the proper time and are fully complete but have the links removed in that manner? Do they still qualify? And if so, is there any way the editor can post a temporary link (if they have the hosting space) somewhere on the page so people can view it and know what they're potentially voting for?

My guess is that the answer to all these questions is 'no', but... I have to ask. Didn't see anything in the rules about it.

All videos that conform to the rules are fine, this includes all those that can't have a local link.. The only real stipulation is that the org itself can;'t host the videos...

Really? I'd always assumed otherwise as they took down the direct and indirect links as well (as far as I could tell from a wide-range search for Evanescence) but if that's the case, I'll get on it. Thanks!

Hm. Whenever I try to add a link to the video, I get this error: ERROR: Link is not valid: 301 - Moved Permanently

There's nothing wrong with the URL, and it is entered correctly. I guess the links just aren't allowed anymore after all...?
