This "logo" is more a EMOTICON that a logo.

A logo just has to represent a site, and there is nothing problematic in using an emoticon for that purpose.

It's a cheap Paint-made logo. They'll probably think the site is cheap too..

Emoticon ...er, really... I just wouldn't be able to take the site seriously anymore, it would be like: bawahahaha-oi bye. As for on banners seeing that thing in fire blue just doesn't work for me XD, but at lest yellow goes well with other colours, not saying that's its only good point...but it is...
I really do think a logo like that would dramatically lower the amount of hits, but that's just conjecture.

Oh, that reminds me. Will the official Org badge be updated when this is over? I just went to get it and it was still the one from 2003-04.

There really has to be a link to the logo contest along with the rest of the orange-boxed members main page links... it's like the only way I can get to it is through the link in this very thread, unless I'm missing something really obvious.

but I still think it's not fit for a logo O_o

Maybe a special type of Emoticon for the Forum?

Because that wasn't the preview image.

The logo submitted was the actual logo; I don't know who submitted it. I just vectorized it.
