uploaded but says not uploaded?

Post by Takutosuki » Sat Feb 18, 2006 8:48 pm

Hello! I've tried uploading my amv. I uploaded it via ftp as the instructions said, and it's sucessfully been uploaded. even so, it says no video is uploaded in my site controlpanel. when i log in to the ftp again, there's no video there. what happend? it's under 100 mb. but it's got some yaoi, but it's just slightly... i don't think that amount yaoi counts... what could have happend? :\ i'm thankful for any help.

Live action does not count as anime
some video/computer games are not considered as anime (like World of Warcraft)
the only video in your profile sounds like it's live action
(but I haven't seen any of the things in your description)

it's not a live action, it's zetsuai, bronze and cathexis, and they're all anime.

Did you confirm it, or just upload it?

i don't get it, as soon as it's been uploaded, it dissapears from the ftp! does the file have to have the same name as the AMV title? or is there any other requirements? this is really weird.

just as a precaution, check your filesize again.
This error almost always means that someone is trying to upload a file over 100 MB.

it could be that the file is close to 100MB, and the actual filesize on disk is over 1,000,000 bytes...so that might set the large file alert off (maybe, I'm not sure though)

(damn, why can't you edit your past posts ^^;)
i mean 79,9 MB (83 800 064 byte) is the space it takes on the drive. i checked the properties.
