Premiere 6.0 clipping effect

Post by Sand3 » Thu Mar 16, 2006 8:58 pm

So my premiere guru just went on vacation and I need some help... I'm trying to panel six clips into one shot, have six vertical panels next to each other and she told me to use the Clipping effect. So, now I've been being driven crazy by trying to put images in a particular spot on the screen once I've clipped them (she told me to use motion but then I can't get the damned things to hold still) and also I can't get rid of the fill color. Here's a picture of kind of what I'm trying to do here: http://www.sand3.com/pix/temp.JPG
I would reeealy apreciate some pointers here.

Don't use the Clip effect. Use the box with the draggable handles in the clips' Transparency settings windows; that way there's no fill color to worry about.

Just another reason Premiere Pro is better than older versions: because older versions don't have the Garbage Matte. :)
