I almost wish I'd had a longer segment.
Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

I'm really impressed.
Great Action based MEP. I'm glad you had more instrumental tracks because I'm not a big fan of growling. hehe
Sometimes the Effects where kind of over the top...For instance the effect with the flying notes in the first part...that actually made me laugh
And the "shaking"-effect in the Gungrave part also kind of made me nervous.^^
But anyway it's one of the best MEP I've seen so far.

Ok, wanted to post sober, but this totally won't happen in the next few days. >_<
Overall great project.
I'll try to make this from memory as I can't play it right now.
The Streetfighter Alpha was quite relevant to my interests. I liked it. Could have had more Sakura though.
The Saikono part was a very nice touch. Although it was overshadowed by the insane action of the rest, it still managed to be remembered.
Elfen Lied was quite impressive. Like almost every segment it would have been nice to see a full blown amv like that.
The Soultaker segement made me smile on some parts. Either from great action syncing or just because of that lovely footage. Mugi Mugi Halko Momoi ftw.

PX, Streicher thanks a lot for your comments, well
PX: I personally think the note effect was okay so far, the problem I had with it was the interlace, but that's about it. We share a point in the consideration of the Gungrave part though.
Streicher: Well Alex used the Komugi scenes just to do you a little favour. I am happy that you discovered this little gimick.
Well to declare my favorites: Elfen Lied (Hitori), X (Tsukin) and finally The devil Lady (Rubyeye)
Btw, Rubyey, I am thankful that you took part in this one, after years of pause finally something from you again. I was astonished to see your betas and to see how your videos come together. I must admit it was kinda strange to see your editing-style aplied on a not-finished track, but that's an experience I really treasure. Hopefully we will see more from you from now on again ^^.

I appreciate the compliment. I was asked once before to join a MEP but didn't really have any interest in it. Again, thanks to Warheart for asking me (and putting up with my procrastinating habits). I don't know how long this project has been in the making, but I'm glad I could help finish it at the last minute.Tormentor wrote:Well to declare my favorites: Elfen Lied (Hitori), X (Tsukin) and finally The devil Lady (Rubyeye)

Even with limitations on time and jumping back into editing again after a long hiatus, I'm happy with the final out come. Tsukin laid the foundation for that track and I just followed suit the best I could. It could have been better, maybe even with a different anime source but I really like Devil Lady.
If there is ever another MEP project (Demons Within 2?) I'd love to try it again. And, Yeah .... Hopefully, I can now finish some video projects I shelved a while back.
I hope you don't mean the entire video. I can't play the x264 version but I know the first track, Chrono Crusade, has interlacing issues.Kalium wrote:One nitpick: is there a reason I'm seeing interlacing in the x264?

I gotta say im pleased with this too.
I loved the what hitori did, best by far. Also other parts that caught my eye were Flint's, Tseng's and Warheart's.
Yay for us!
