Mine was I Want Someone to Love by Meri way back in 2000. I remember that it took HOURS to download that 5 mgb file on my 14.4 modem. And even when I got it downloaded, my computer couldn't process it enough to actually have animation. So I just watched still frames flash up as the audio played in the background (although it was really jerky too). I actually thought that she had originally made it with still images.... So much to learn....
Yeah, the AMV thesis....that was me.

I think it was 1999 or 1998 and it was probably one of Meri's videos.

For the millionth time, mine was either Rubyeye's Dark Legacy or Doki's Right Now etc.

I actually watched a video made by my friend irenicus, but the first regular one was Kwasek's "Yesterday" covering The Beatles and Cowboy Bebop....and from that time on, I was addicted :x

The first AMV that (I think) I watched was "I Wish I Was A Lesbian."

Not having a clue on what an AMV was, the first thought that came to my mind was, "What is this?" :|

I'm not sure, I remember watching several DBZ and FF vids that didn't impress me much, but the first one I really loved was Pwolf's Du Hast to Gundam Wing. The one listed now, I don't know if it was the original or not, but I remember the opening with that song of Enomine's and a kick ass intro. That stands out in my mind the most.
