Shamelessly stolen from dj_ultima_the_great:
When I start a video, I think, "I'm going to make something so cool and different I will rock everyone's ass of"
When I'm working on the video, I think, "This looks nothing like I want it to look like, oh crap I don't have time to actually redo the stuff I wanted to redo and make it look decent since the con deadline is creeping up. Oh well just finish the crap you're making"
When I finish a video, I think, "This actually looks ok! No it sucks! OMG how could I leave that error in arghhhh :/"
After I've uploaded and announced the video, I think, "Let's pimp the hell out of this video"
After that about 50 people tend to watch the video and only 5 appear to care enough to tell me they like it.
It's actually all quite sad :'(

I've made a few videos I am really fond of, but I don't know if I would call myself 'proud' of them. I kinda reserve that for my kids.
I have been finding it interesting that the amvs I make that I really, really enjoy are not neccessarily the ones that other people seem to like. But that's the way of most creative endeavors.

Like many other people on this site, I too am proud after just finishing a new amv. However, as time goes on and I look back to my older amv's, I begin to wonder how the hell people liked some of the amv's I made in the first place. lol
Of course, this doesn't apply to ALL of my amv's, but some of them. After I get my head out of ass, and my music video has been out for awhile, I'm able to better see the flaws it contained for myself.
I won't lie. Peoples opinions also play a big factor as to how fast I go from initially liking an amv I made, to hating it.

Myself, I'm proud of my work... the fact that I even finished the darn thing is a miracle in itself. I was hoping for a lot of opinions and feedback so I can get my 2nd video created with the things I've learned, I've had some great feedback but not a lot.
But yes, I'm proud of my work because I created it. I've had my initial upsets when the flaws were pointed out but I got over it and am learning... still. (rotoscoping is not what I thought it was... I will now call it Cut and Paste again.)

I am always proud of my work in at least some degree. generally the more work I put into it, and the more it comes out how I originally invisioned is directly proportionate to how proud I am of the final product. For instance, I was more proud of AR2 when I finished it since I did exactly what I set out to do, than I was with Zetsumo since I didn;t accomplish everything I had set out to do originally, even though Zetsumo is technically far superior and alot more work.
I am the most proud of my amvs when I can accomplish something I didn;t think I could do before, when I challenge myself to figure it out and do it. (generally with some custom effect I imagine up or a scene composite I need for a particular scene in the amv, like the Rain segment in AR2)
