Worst AMV you have seen.

I'd consider the worst AMV I'd ever seen to be more of a missed opportunity (the bunches of random clips that take up less space on my hard drive than an average mp3 are pretty bad, but I just write them off and move on). Good video (even if I didn't like the lipsynch and started watching another video in my head halfway through), but the huge hardsubbed lyrics top and bottom and the way the majority of the footage was letterboxed a la End of Eva and then the video rendered at 320x240 kind of killed it for me. Why go to all the trouble of applying a couple of dozen filters to the footage if the end result is too small for people to really appreciate your hard work?

Vids
I say we stop complaining about these vdeos, and embrace them the best way anyone know how. By making fun of them. Not the individual creaters, but the videos themselves.

This takes you to the thread started for a contest I started with these things. I don't know how many people actually get that these bad vids can be good for something, and I aim to prove it.
That, and it also my way of trying to reduce the sheer amount of this crap clogging up the internet, and keeping us away from the good stuff that is out there.

I saw a Lain video once with scenes that did not have any obvious relation to the song used and there were very few scene transitions. Also, it was obvious the person did not know how to rip a cd. You can hear AIM message noises in the middle of the video because they recorded the song via analog or something using the "What U Hear" option of a Creative sound card.
