Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

Actually, sorry to be posting about it - but something I mentioned to Orwell while discussing this vid...

One thing I really like about this is that unlike so many "technocratic" AMVs these days, this one actually stays very simple - underneath the tricky camera work and windows, there is a straightforwardly-edited drama video that comes into focus at all the right times. It really adds to the dramatic effect, these 'clear moments', which are usually very striking/violent. I agreed with Orwell that scenes like the one with the elevator, where there's really nothing much going on technically, give this video a lot of impact.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

fix'd again. I'd never be sorry about commenting on a video like this 8-)

I was quite amazed, really good work.
Sadly the effects are recognizable because the "normal" scenes have a lot of ringing in the picture. Better source would've been better.
On the other hand the effects blend very good into the flow and mood of the video. Really well made.

this needs bumping : \

i got this a few days ago, but kept forgetting about it until this morning just before i was abuot to leave. I watched it. Then i watched it a second time. Then i was late : \

I like it a lot. The use of the lyrics in text form was excellent, and something i've always been a fan of (as long as it's tasteful - and this was)

Really good work
