Well for some odd reason none i have spoken with knows of it's existance and it's quite disturbing knowing how awesome it actualy is.
I would have to confess that it was the first anime since evanagelion the series and the movie to "disturb" me , for the lack of a better word. It was something very diffrent and it involved more of our life, more of our reality than many of the anime i have seen. Hence why it had a such a powreful effect on me.
I am actualy curius to know how people reacted to it?

Well I've never been much of a person to give huge reactions (which is why I love shows like Kino's Journey that can actually bring me to tears). I just loved the characters and story enough to make it one of my favorite anime (the amazing artstyle didn't hurt either).

I most definatly have to agree with you, it had greater emphasis on characters, relationships, and so on. Presisly what makes it good, action anime are good but those ones are just so damn good that it's way more enlightening!

It was named "TV series of the year" at the Kobe Animation festival, so it certainly can't be too bad.

My 2nd favorite series. I don't think I have much of anything for it but praise. There was a thread about it before here, but it's long gone somewhere in the old dead pile. I guess it's true that people are a bit reluctant to discuss it, but I don't think it takes away from its amazing-ness.

Top recommendation to anyone from me.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I have seen the first volume of this series, and let me be the first to say this...this series is kinda moved me in a way which is very strange and unique.

Of course I couldn't tell what have moved me in that sort of a way, but all I know is that the character development was "moving along with the foreground or background", the story is quite twisted and overall-ness is pretty wicked.

I wanted to see the rest of the volumes, but these cheap bastards from video store companies wouldn't release the other volumes which I don't know why though...
A.k.a- "The Anime>Observer" 8-)
The Lone Anime Ranger...off duty

Oto, i did not know that it was TV series of the year, wow way to fully miss info :( lol.

Anobe, i know what you mean when you sai it has moved you in strange way, it's wierd the vibe i got out of the anime, it was ......special......
I can't exacly pin what moved me ither but it definatly has something to do with the fact that it's not a superfesial anime. It's not just people shuved in a situation where they need to fight their way thru or do stupid things to entertain us. The fact that it dealt with things many anime do not do has quite alot to do with the emotion it has evoked in the people that have seen it.
