I have to say, in the uncut series of Dragonball Z, you get to see more of Vegeta and you get to HEAR him say some really powerful things that they took out in the cut version of the show. I'm a girl too, and Vegeta be my fav character too. Has anyone seen the uncut version besides me?
Ok, for example, I think it was right after Vegeta knocked Trunks and Goten out (in the Buu saga) and he's talking to Piccolo breifly and telling him to "get away from here as far as possible"... in the uncut version he tells Piccolo. "Tell my son...I love him very much."
I was like...WHY IN THE HECK DID THEY TAKE THAT OUT!
Uncut rocks, although, Vegeta does tend to curse a lot, BUT you get to see the softer side of him a lot more.

Cut episodes suck. They cut off many parts which aren't even violent or anything.
Like in the very first episode of DBZ they had cut off the whole Gohan-thing. I mean the part where he's in the woods and gets trouble. Just what the f***?
I think that was the Ocean Dub version which do is horrible because of all the cutting. That part where Spopovich was beating Videl was cut almost completely and could you believe it???: they took out the part where Piccolo blushes while showing fusion dance with Goku! What's so bad about blushing Piccolo? I don't get it.
I like Funanimations version because they at least haven't censored blood, beating, perv jokes or anything like that. And I also like music they are using.
Yup. And about DBZ... I love it. And no... I'm NOT 12 years old. I'm 19 and a girl.
I like DBZ because of the characters and style. Yes. Although some people always complain about its animation style, I adore it because characters are not so damn cute and perfect like in most animes. I prefer that guys look like guys and girls like girls. Seriously... there are so many animes where males don't make any diference to females... except their breasts. I don't like feminine guys.
That's my opinion.
Of course... there are many little things which I could complain about DBZ (like slowness, the not so great plot etc.) but I still love it.
My favorite characters are btw Piccolo and Vegeta is someone wants to know...

Cut episodes suck
People think that they put the cut version of DBZ on because of the the blood and cussing and such or the uncut is just more violence and such. NOT TRUE! There was an episode (not on the cut version, sadly) where Vegeta finds out Bulma is pregnant and he says something like, "Why did you tell me this? Why didn't you tell me you were carrying my child?"
Now, deleting episodes from the cut version such as this one leaves me thoroughly confused. There's no blood and violence, nothing harmfull whatsoever. It gets me frustrated because people view DBZ as a violent show with nothing to it but the good guys beating up bad guys and fighting, fighting, fighting. WHICH IS SO NOT TRUE! There are some pretty deep and absorbing episodes with characters such as Vegeta and you get to see a side of them you wouldn't see on the cut version.
Granted, the uncut version can be a little much with the fighting and I find myself turning some episodes because the violence is a little much, but episodes like the one where Vegeta finds out he's going to be a father. GOSH, it's too grand. [/i]
