Zarxrax's intro to Lip Sync 101.
part of the main page's Guides.
And this topic might be an interesting read, if you haven't seen it already.

He heh....
I'm curently investing in better editing programs......... So.......... umm........ All I have is Windos Movie Maker Semi2. heh heh. Other than that I have a converter for movie files in general. (But, so far I've only used it to convert things to AVIs. So I could load them into my gif animater.)

Basically the easiest/best way to do it is crop out different frames of the character's mouth positions. Overlay them as needed to match to the words. Doing it this way, you can keep action of whatevers going on in the background, instead of using entire frames of the scene.
But yea, you'll need a video editing program that supports multiple layers, unless you can do that in the gif editor you're using.

Re: He heh....
I'm just asking because I've heard frame-by-frame lipsyncing in WMM can be somewhat difficult. IIRC, it's just a simple matter of poor frame accuracy. It can be done though, so don't get discouraged. Just try to keep it simple to help avoid crashing WMM, then look forward to getting a better editor. Good luck.carbonsteel wrote:...All I have is Windos Movie Maker Semi2...
