Another Logging In Problem

Hey all.
Somehow I was able to log on to the amv forums, but I can't get to my main member page. Everytime I try to log in there's an error. I ask to have my password sent to my email and everytime I do it sends me a different password. Can someone please clue me in?

It's working now...

Mine doesn't work either. I even changed the password and reactivated it via the link given in the automatic e.mail response but the password doesn't work for the main page (although it works on the forums).

Hmmm, I don't see anything funny at all for you in the members table... all the active flags are set, there is a password, etc.

Does it give any error messages?

derobert, I'm just curious. You work on this site right? I remember reading somewhere that you design a lot of the pages, or something like that. If this is true, I'd just like to compliment you on a very nice job.

I do some work here and there. Most of what I've done has been syadmin stuff and some performance tuning. The actual frontend design work is generally done by <a href="/members/members_myprofile.php?user_id=1">Phade</a> and <a href="/members/members_myprofile.php?user_id=49">::ReeBooT::</a>.

Right now, what I'm up to is making sure the site can scale up more visitors. Currently, for example, a couple of the very popular types of searches are off because they were killing the server. They will be coming back, in a slightly different form, that doesn't kill the server. At the moment, I'm perfecting the 'Search by Anime' replacement; a <a href="http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phpBB/v ... =">message about an alpha version</a> was posted to the Site Suggestions forum. It presently (as that thread mentions) does not work too well with Internet Explorer (IE is broken). Anyway, any major (visible) stuff I do will usualy first appear in <a href="/playpen/">the AMV playpen.</a>
