Valentine’s MEP PART DEUX!

Here’s what I’ve got so far:

FORMAT:

Codecs accepted:

• High quality Xvid/Divx (HQ first pass)
• Huffy
• Lagarith (preferred)
• DVAVI (If you edit with WMM, you can do this…)
• MPEG (yes, this includes h.264)

Video Specs and Info:
• 720 x 480
• 29.97 fps
• 4:3 – please letterbox those 16:9 vids… If you don’t know how, I can do it for you, but would rather not have to. ^_^;
• DEINTERLACED!!!! For the love of anything, please deinterlace your video!
• Overhang: Please allow 2 - 5 seconds at the beginning and the end of your clip for transitions. This doesn’t necessarily mean music, but definitely means video.
• If you clean your video before sending it to me, please let me know so I don’t deen it to death. If you don’t know what this means, then you didn’t do it.
• No subtitles, logos, watermarks, etc., etc. If you don’t know how to turn off the DIVX logo, go here. (There’s even pictures.)
• Best quality video by all means!

Audio:
I would prefer uncompressed WAV, but if you feel compelled to compress, lame MP3 is fine. If it sounds bad, I will let you know and demand a nicer copy. >:O

Length:
Minimum: 20 seconds
Maximim: 2 minutes

Limit:
Two entries per editor/studio.

Please state which category you want your track to be in. If you don’t, I will use my best judgement (HA!) as to where to put it in the final product.

ONLY 2 SUBMISSIONS PER ANIME (Excluding multi-anime submissions). Once your anime/audio is claimed, I will list it here in the first post.

NO GORE, EXTREME VIOLENCE, ETC.

Must be PG-13 or lower! I have kids. I want them to be able to be in the office when I edit this thing together without them asking questions about the things characters are doing in the tracks. If you can’t show your track to your 7 year-old niece/nephew/sibling without getting yelled at/strangled/beaten by their parents – then rethink what you’re doing. (My kids are 11, 8 and 6, btw.)

I will censor lyrics if needed. Please let me know beforehand if your track has any f-bombs in it. If it can’t be played on the radio, at least use the radio edit of the song. If there is no radio edit of the music, expect to hear a beep or some other lovely sound effect over the swears.
