any descent software that allows you to take picture of video ur watching or sumthing of the sort?

Unless its wmv, just open the video with vdubmod and use snapshot frame.

mediaplayer classic - file>save image
vlc - video>snapshot

vdubs probably best especially for exporting a section of video as a series of images - remember you can usually import wmv and mov with avisynth.

in most cases, printscrn won't be able to snapshot video.
KioAtWork: I'm so bored. I don't have class again for another half hour.

I'm surprised you guys don't know this.

WMP11+ has a screenshot button, bu for 10-.

Open up Windows Media Player, go to Tools -> Hardware (tab) -> Video acceleration(sometimes called 'hardware acceleration).

Slide it to zero. If the option is greyed out, click the "advanced" button and then uncheck the "use video overlay" button.

OKay out of all this and then use print screen like normal. =3

or you could just use herosoft which is possibly the easiest way to take a video snapshot
