I can't count all the anime that i shed tears on. We are human and wheather those characters are fictional or not it apeals to people. I cried over deep anime, some of which are Gankutsuou: The count of Monte-Cristo, FMA (when he transforms the little girl in to a chimera, I was crying like mad), Gantz Evangelion, kenshin the ova's obviusly and so many others. I find it very normal to cry because as someone mentioned it previusly it is the same as laughting and everyother type of emotion we have.
All anime makes you think and realise diffrent aspects of life and because we are human and understand that some of these things might happen and or are allready hapening it makes us cry because we can relate to them.
To be honest, somethimes it's the meaning that i derive from anime that makes me think and cry. The deep psychology and the message these directors are trying to show us that just makes you think about the world we live in and the way people live their life.
OKay so beafore i write a master thesis on this i better stop lol.

I cry when a certain character dies in X. Not for all of them, that would be a lot of tears. :O

Wow, had to talk with the wife about this one. She's cried watching Boys Over Flowers, we've both cried
But I'm secure with myself to admit that, so it's all good!
at the end of Slayers Next. And I can honestly say, I cried at the end of Azumanga, because I knew it was over... and I didn't want to end ;_;and then we both got angry, then laughed when it wasn't Lina and Gourry getting married
But I'm secure with myself to admit that, so it's all good!
