Can anyone recomend some yuri anime's
I really liked gravitation are there any yuri animes. I don't mean anime's that people can assume are yuri like nori or madlax.

...or Utena. If anyone tells you that Utena is yuri, please kick them in the face. It's shoujo-ai. Even the movie, with the naked luge, is shoujo-ai. Nobody's gettin' laid onscreen in the series unless Akio is involved, and he's decidedly not a girl.Wildcat666 wrote:I really liked gravitation are there any yuri animes. But then again, Gravitation isn't yaoi - that's something like Ai no Kusabi or Level C. If you mean "a girl version of Gravitation, kindasorta," you don't want yuri, you want shoujo-ai. Maria-sama ga Miteru is the only one that's coming to me right now. Uh, Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito, I guess. Or Utena - more so in the movie. The series just has a pile of pairings/love triangles in almost every conceivable combination, and f/f is among them.

Yes, go with that one. There's also Simoun but you REALLY need to be patient with the first couple episodes since the jargon gets thrown around a lot.Clamp-X wrote:Strawberry Panic!
And there's everyone fan-favorite series, Kannazuki no Miko! Shoujo-ai fans will go nuts over (or basically totally worship) the couple of Chikane and Himeko. It's safe to say that title will be the "flagship" shoujo-ai title especially for the seinen audiences.
You can also check out Kashimashi ~ Girl Meets Girl (licensed by Media Blasters but yet to release the DVD) which takes the changing guy-to-a-girl quirk of Hazumu into a rather interesting love triangle drama between 2 other girls.
And this may not relate to anime but to manga and light novels, but do keep a VERY close lookout for Seven Seas Entertainment launch release of their Strawberry label which is a shoujoai/yuri label. The releases will include Strawberry Panic and 2 other titles I can't think of this moment.
