Internal or External Sync?

Which appeals to you the most and why?

Internal Sync: Sync with stuff that happens in the anime.
External Sync: Sync with any kind of FX.

This is a pretty contriversial topic for me. I usually finding myself syncing with stuff that happens in the anime more often then using any kind of FX. What do you all think?

Internal Sync strengthens the bond between the song and the anime. External Sync can be used on anything at any time and means nothing.

If it's a techno song it probably will look a better with external sync. If it's the classical music then external sync would look wildly out of place.

Some songs have such prominent parts to them that it almost demands external sync that's equally as prominent. Other times internal sync fits the flow better. What the sound is also matter, a highly synthetic sound calls for something external while a more natural sounding part calls for internal.

I would think that most people enjoy external synching more...simply going by how much people seem to despise my videos with a passion...then again maybe it's just me they don't like.

It depends on the song, I tend to agree with godix. But internal sync will always amuse me more.

You have failed to realize it's perfectly possible we despite you AND we despite your videos. This isn't an either or thing ya know, we can and do despite both.

I think striking a balance between the 2 is key fr any sort of sync-cohesion; that is, if the music permits it.
